Khaled Latif, New York University’s Muslim chaplain, is one of the youngest and most prominent imams in the New York Muslim community. In this photo, he prepares himself on graduation day at NYU where he will march alongside the university’s rabbi and priest.
was very excited to see the photographs then very disappointed. Muslim American’s don’t get a positive photo spreads like this everyday and I think better pictures could have been published to illustrate muslim life. Two big problems I had with the photographs is that first they were very impersonal and secondly pretty uneventful such here’s a pic of Muslims standing around in a parking lot, here’s a Muslim looking out a window. Kind of blaah and undynamic.
