More on Michael Jackson: Yusuf Islam, Dawud Wharnsby, Yasir Qadhi, Muslim Janazah…

Imam Zaid has recently wrote that he had a trustworthy source tell hm that Micahel Jackson had converted recently. However that source may have also told him that he was influenced by Dawud Wharnsby. Others have said that he was influenced by Yusuf Islam. Dawud Wharnsby and Yusuf Islam have recently given their thoughts on Jackson’s passing - giving their condolences and best wishes, but denying any personal interactions with Michael.
Nonetheless, others have indeed confirmed that Michael Jackson had converted, including Yasir Qadhi in today’s Khutbah at the Berlin Masjid in Berlin, CT [Props to Haseeb Chowdhry!!!]
In the second part of his Khutbah, Shaykh Yasir began talking about an individual that has been a part of all of our lives, whether we want to admit it or not. No one in our generation can say that haven’t heard Michael Jackson’s music, or that they haven’t heard about him in the news. He was a man that had everything at his disposal, all the fame, the fortune, and the status. Everyone from Steve Jobs to kids living in the Maharastra slums knew of heard of Michael Jackson. What was so amazing, Shaikh Yasir said, was that everyone could tell that he was never truly happy and that he engaged in “eccentric activities,” demonstrating his insecurity and lack of ease with life in this world. Yet, according to Shaikh Yasir, there was evidence that Michael Jackson accepted Islam last year in LA. In fact, Shaikh Yasir said that Jermaine Jackson, who is the Shaikh’s friend and a Muslim for the past 10 years, confirmed with the Shaikh that Michael had indeed proclaimed the Shahada and was on his path towards learning about Islam.
Any further speculation, without primary evidence is unnecessary. Moreover, it really hurts to see all the hateful comments against Michael Jackson on the web. He never molested any children, nor did he intentionally turn himself white (he had Vitiligo). Yes, he had his flaws, was quite eccentric, and perhaps mentally troubled, but that gives no body the right to speak ill of this man.

Al-Hamdu-lillah! Michael Jackson is a Muslim! Al-Hamdu-lillah Jermaine Jackson is a Muslim, I haven’t heard from him in over 20 years. There is nothing to be skeptical about Michael Jackson becoming a Muslim! Michael Jackson accepts the Religion of Tauhid (monotheism), which is the easiest Reglion as it calls to the worship of One God (Allah
- The God). I knew this as a kaafir and currently as a Muslim! If an enemy of Islam can enter and die upon Islam during the time of the Prophet sal-Allahu alaihi was-sallum, who is to say that a mere POP STAR can’t become a Muslim during a time when Islam is a known Religion and while he is surrounded by deviant Muslims who also happened to be some of his biggest fans? Also, with the Prophet sal-Allahu alaihi was-sallum performing Janaza prayer for a hypocrite who had the audacity to make such statements against the Prophet during his lifetime, we as Muslims must understand the level of Hell Fire that the hypocrites will be in and the level of Paradise those Believers who were from amongst the Salaf-us-Salih (our Pious Predecessors, which include the Sahabah, the Tabieen, and the Tabi-tabieen) according to their deeds, our present Muslims strongly believe that we will attain Jannah (Paradise) just for simply having an atom’s weight of faith (authentic Hadeeth in Sahih Al-Bukhari, volume 1 - saying that we will be taken out of Hell for this).
We really should be asking Allah
to guide the rest of his family to Islam, along with the rest of mankind - as Prophet Muhammad 
sal-Allahu alaihi was-sallum was sent to all of mankind.

Well if michael had really accepted islam why are people afraid to come out in the open and declare openly about it, i see something very very sinister about it, cause MJ was no ordinary man, so anyone could imagine if the story about him converting to most pure & true religion on earth was to be true & had it come out in the open if he was alive, lakhs would have converted after him. THinks all you people out there!!!!!!!!!
