Native Deen’s New Album: Not Afraid to Stand Alone
Published by Haseeb November 27th, 2007 in Music, Native DeenI just received my album today from Nasheeds.com, and LOVE IT. Mashallah, Native Deen have come along way from their MYNA Raps days, and even from their previous album, Deen You Know. This album has songs ranging wide styles within the hip hop genre, and features fellow Muslim artists Isam Bachiri (from Outlandish), and Zain Bhikha. It also features interludes from scholars including Imam Siraj Wahaj and Dr. Ingrid Mattson.
Inshallah, after listening to the CD a couple of times, I’ll try to write a more comprehensive review later this week.

Yeah I got it also. Track 18, be at the top is pretty good.
Still Strong is a wicked track, especially Isams lyrics, but the whole album is good
Amazing Album, it is definatly my new favorite album,I cant find one bad song. Very deep lyrics and powerful beats.
I was listening to the samples on their website…does this one contain music in the background (aside from the drums?) I hear lots more going on in the background than the previous album.

jazakullah kair!
Wow. Very very pathetic. Rather listen to some tight quranic recitation skills by Al-Ghamdi than this garbage =)
