i believe imam zaid to be right in examining and re-casting the overused "islamo-fascist" label. it has become a part of the american mainstream parlance and appears everywhere, soundwaves, tv, print, internet, etc. the idea of re-envisioning the term to a much more palatable "islamo-anarchy" more clearly characterizes the independent- mindedness of those so-called muslim individuals who choose to inflict violence upon groups of non-muslims indiscriminately, contrary to the sunnah of our beloved prophet s.a.w.s.. as to linking of the historical reality of fascism with the current state of the islamic world, imam zaid has perfectly nailed it- there can be no other explanation than it being an attempt to justify the total eradication of islam and muslims around the world by hatemongers (and those who pay their wages) who thrive on inciting violent feelings and stirring up blind prejudice.

right on imam zaid!

BismillaharRahmanirRahim

as-salaamu 'alaikum, why bring this up now? Its clearly locked into a period of America's extremely fast moving political stream and thus a thing of the past. The Bush Administration and Conservatives in general has cleaned up Bush's fatuous references to Fascism quite nicely. So why relive it? Who is this benefiting? What purpose does it serve other than creating a platform for hero worship? 'auzubillahi min ash-shaytani rajim, I don't know about you but I'm looking more closely into the rants of Imam Zaid after his 10 minute lecture on istinja, to a crowd of 300 Muslims this year in New Jersey saying,

"Muslims are afraid to touch themselves!"

Ooof! That was really bad.
