Source: Zaytuna Institute Shaykh Hamza Yusuf and Imam Zaid Shakir will host Zaytuna Institute’s fundraiser luncheon in Somerset, N.J., on Saturday, June 16, 2007. At the event, which will include a private release of Al-Aqidah Al-Tahawiyyah, we will present Zaytuna’s accomplishments and future goals and invite you to participate in and support our vision of developing a dynamic publications division and online presence. We will also present you with a complimentary copy of The Creed of Imam Al-Tahawi (Al-Aqidah Al-Tahawiyyah), signed by Shaykh Hamza Yusuf, who translated, introduced and annotated the work. In addition, we will offer you a free ticket to Islam in the West: Past Glory & Present Reality, an all-day event at the Garden State Exhibit Center, beginning right after the Zaytuna luncheon. Invited entertainers include Native Deen, Kareem Salama and Noor, and speakers include Imam Siraj Wahhaj, Imam Zaid Shakir and Shaykh Hamza Yusuf. There will also be an art display by Haji Noor Deen.
