Lisa Simpson explores the dichotomy between FOX Network’s sleazy programming and FOX News’ condemnation of everything “liberal.”

Whats even more ironic is that the Simpsons airs on FOX.

Hey what’s up Haseeb, it’s Chris from Albertson.

I have to give my little requisite speech concerning “media bias.” There is only one force that all media (Print, Television, Internet, left, right, center) are biased to: $$$$$$$$$.

When cable news was born, the businessmen (and women) behind CNN took surveys and found that the people most interested in watching cable news were from the NE and California coast, 40 , well-educated, had 6-figure incomes, tended to live in luxury urban apts, and voted democratic.

Now remember, Rupert Murdoch is first and foremost a businessman. He saw an untapped market: millions upon millions of right-wing and center-right folk in the South, Midwest and Mountain States who didn’t bother to watch CNN & MSNBC because of a perceived bias. He hired a MSNBC bigwig(Roger Ailes) to head up his new network. There really is no irony in Fox-TV vs FoxNews. They both make Rupert Murdoch very rich, and that’s all he cares about.

So, yes, the media is biased but not for the reasons some people think(ie they believe the media are just tools in some sort of right or left wing worldwide conspiracy.)

BTW, love the site. And I’m sorry I missed Monis’ wedding.
