mashallah that was nice …but im confused about two things
first did Isam take some fashion advice from the KKK
and second, how were they all singing the lion kind song? is this an actual african folk song or something ….
I didn’t go this year but they were showing some of it on tv along with some interviews of the artists including Outlandish and Mo Amer.
The people who did the Lion King bit are the actual singers in the film and the backing vocals for Zain Bhika.

I was there this year!! Subhanallah the event was so amazing- the video doesn’t do it justice!! Individual people were donating £10,000 at once and loadsa loadsa money was raised

Here at home, Shaykh Hamza, Imam Zaid, & Imam Siraj Wahhaj are hosting an Islam in the West Exhibit in New Jersey on June 16th. Artists featured include Native Deen, Seven 8 Six, Noor, Kareem Salama & Sound of Reason.
