Haven’t yet seen the interview yet - but I’d still like to share it. It’s quite rare seeing Stephen Colbert out of character for a change. (The segment with Stephen Colbert begins around the 20 minute mark.)

Interesting interview. I think jon stewart and stephen colbert are very funny, but I stopped watching their shows because they frequently tell dirty jokes (e.g. sex and gay jokes, use foul language etc.), make fun of islam and other religions, and show inappropriate images at times. I have a 9 month old son and when I watched these shows around him I realized that if I don’t want him to be listening to such filthy jokes then what I am I doing watching them? I feel like I need to set an example for him so that is the main reason I stopped watching tv, although I still do watch documentaries sometimes. It’s interesting to note that although Colbert made fun of religion extensively on the daily show and continues to do so on his colbert report, that he is indeed a devout catholic and sunday school teacher.
