As I saw Alex Rodriguez–I mean Carlos Beltran–strike out, I realized I could not have thought of a better punishment for Mets fans that laughed at the Yankees’ defeat against the Tigers. You all will see what sort of team we had to face when the Tigers win the World Series.

Its ok. The mets couldnt win against detroit and it wouldve been more painful anyhow. I saw 2 mets - cardinals games and i’m telling you there is NO WAY the cardinals could beat detroit. I thought what I was seeing was unbelievable while watching the yankees lose and after seeing the NLCS games, i know it was unbelievable. The placement of these detroit pitchers - their unbelievable control of the corners and edges - they threw almost only “strikes”, that is pitches just enough out of the zone to be unhittable but close enough to the plate to be called a strike EVERY TIME. Meanwhile, pitching 99-103mph! The NLCS games were a joke! Like watching little league. Pitches right down the middle, 94mph “fastballs”. The cardinals will be swept sooo easily. So dont feel bad. Its ok.

musharrafs the best prez for pakistan or probably any islamic nation. He did the smart thing and closed off help to the taliban (who deserved to be killed and routed anyhow). The US threatened to bomb pakistan and they could easily have made something up and done so (pakistan is supplying nuclear weapons to iran or something like that). So i dont think thats kissing bush’s bottom. Thats being smart.
