More beautiful Ramadan-themed Music

I found these videos from Timmy and Baraa:

(Warning: if you think music is haram, do not click, and please dont leave a comment explaining how music is haraam)

Lord of Ramadan - English, Arabic, Turkish, German…?

Ide mjesec Ramadan - Bosnian

Subhanallah!, so beautiful seeing the beautiful spirit behind Ramadan being translated into such diverse cultures. (I have nothing against Arab Music, but its nice seeing music from other places also!)

And I thought I’d repost this vid I found at the beginning of Ramadan (yes, an Arabic Song :) )

Mishari Al-Arada - Ramadan - Arabic

Maan, i’m really gonna miss ramadan when this month ends…

THe Lord of Ramadhan, funny title,

Alhamdulillah, Allah (SWT) ta’ala gave us the opportunity to live to see this Ramadhaan. We all have plans which we want to keep up and we will inshaAllah reach our goals.

The comment of sister Aliya makes me really sad: (”but hey it’s showing those Europeans how much muslims are integrating, man “)
Do we Muslims have to do something Haraam, to show ‘those Europeans’ how integrated we are? Shall we all now start adapting the lifestyle of non-muslims to be liked? We do not need any assessment by any non-muslim, we do not need to show people how ‘integrated’ we are by doing the same stuff they do!
SubhaanAllah, the Qur’aan tells us about certain rules/prohibitions and instead of putting one’s back into it, muslims are ‘concealing’ everything.

I watched this video (Lord of Ramadhaan), but just the first 5 seconds because then I couldn’t distinguish if I switched on MTV or I just visited an islamic blog…

Ooops, I’m sorry, I didn’t read your note that people with a different view shouldn’t comment. I’m sorry, but subhaanAllah, Allah (SWT) wanted me to do this :)

But one question : MashaAllah you seem to be very interested in and I guess your goal lies in Allahs ta’ala pleasure, but don’t you know that it is obvious and evident that music is haram? I do not want to argue or something like that, I’m just interested how you guys think about it and what your views are. That’s all.
May Allah (SWT) guide us all and grant everyone a high rank in Jannah and may Allah (SWT) subhaana wa ta’ala save us from the great fitnah of the grave. Ameen. May Allah (SWT) subhaana wa ta’ala accept all our Duaas and fastings in this holy month. Ameen.

    Sister Talibah,

when I said, it shows Europeans how hard muslims are trying to integrate, I was being sarcastic, in fact I did mean it to say in sad undertones. The video “Lord of Ramdan” was entertaining at best not spiritual. And I’ll say I watched the whole thing because I couldnt believe how hard and how much they were trying to show that muslims can blend in, or that muslims can be cool.
Thanks for the reminder, may Allaah SWT guide us all to the truth and protect us from the fitnah and la’b wa lahw of this dunya as that video was for sure la’b wa lahw to look cool and all.

Take care sister Talibah. Can I have your email address. You can email it to the site director and I’ll get it from him. wasalaam
