Softballers 19-7 (2nd Place in SASL)
In another scorcher of SASL action, the Softballers prevailed going 2-0, winning our 18th and 19th games of the year. In our first game, we went on to beating the dynasty by 12 runs. After they took an early lead, and argued over a play in which i CLEARLY SCORED (my foot reached the plate before any contact with the catcher) - and tey ended up calling me out (usman lost the coin flip). I was enraged at the call - and let my team know about it. And we responded - by scoring a dozen more runs on the way to winning 16 to 4. Dont ever mess with the softballers!
And in game 2, we beat the lions by forfeit - they never showed up, lol. (and yes, the 0-25 Lions are the team Haroon plays for!)
New York Mets 63-41 (1st Place in NL East)
What a month of July it has been for my Mets. The Mets hit 6 grand slams this month (Beltran hit 3 of them). And although Carlos Delgado has been slumping, the rest of the team is playing great, especially Carlos Beltran. Beltran leads the NL with 93 RBIs!
As far as the Trading deadline goes, yes that team in the bronx signed Abreu (as if Matsui, Sheffield, and Damon arent enough). Whoopdidoo! According to ESPN, the mets may trade Lastings Miledge for Barry Zito (who will be a free agent at the end of the year). I have mixed feelings about that deal. For now lets wait and see what happens

I swear to Almighty Jesus, I’m gonna break your arm if you keep whining about the Yankees.
