Anyways, so after sending in a ticket request months ago, i finally got tickets for the daily show this past week. Great experience, and a funny show, as expected. Before the show started, comic Paul Mecurio warmed up the crowd with some jokes. He was pretty funny, except that he picked on me. He called me a ‘terrorist look-a-like’. lol.
And then the show started, out came Jon Stewart himself. I know alot of ppl think hes really short, but hes not. Hes 5′7″! Many smart and funny people are 5′7″. ;-).
The show touched on the Abramoff trial (found guilty, will face 6 years of jailtime!), the Israeli elections, current pig research, and an interview with Queen Latifah. Solid Show.
However, i still think the Colbert Report is better! Honestly, the best part of the show was the little 1 minute segment where Jon Stewart checks in with Stephen Colbert for a preview of The Colbert Report. Heres that very segment:
Stephen’s sick of liberals posing as friends of the people while taking names that endorse monarchy.
And after the show, of course, we went to the Chicken Guy for dinner
