HAHMED.com no more… DOMAIN SOLD…
Published by Haseeb April 1st, 2006 in PersonalAs many of you know, my site has become quite popular as of late. And its been taking alot of effort and time that I honestly dont have. My school work is piling up and is suffering.
My site has been getting averaging 550- 700 unique hits a day, but still has not generating much ad revenue. One of my friends suggested that i could make alot of money from my domain name, especially now that its so popular. So I followed his advice, and offered my domain on ebay, not thinking anyone would buy it.
But get this - after a week of bidding, the current bid (at the time of this post) has reached $2,025! Thats alot of money and I could surely use it as a poor student.
So once the auction ends, unfortunately i will have to give up my website to its new owner. This blog has been fun, and I really apprecaite all the great comments all of you guys have left me over the past 1.5 years. Its been fun.
So while my blog is still up for the next, and final day, please feel free to leave me comments with your final parting thoughts. Its been an honor having you all read what Ive had to say and share with you all. Thank you!

I should get a cut of the profit. If you were smart, you would set up a new site: hahmed.net - and just have all the people who link to you - at least the major sites, change their urls to that address.

I agree with Polemicist…its an April Fools joke. I knew you were gonna do something like this! If it was real you woulda linked to the actual ebay posting. Plus, I know you can’t not blog…it would kill you or something.

BTW, awesome joke and good job at trying to fool people. What woulda been really good is creating a fake site and not just a pic. Now the people who paid attention to the domain link would have noticed its not ebay but you prolly coulda gotten the real fools. lol

Ahsan, that was proven to be false. Muslims fooled by April Fool’s Day Urban Legend. I wouldn’t do April Fools anyway (it’s stupid, lying, copying non-Muslims, etc.), but not for the Spain reason.
