Nets on a roll
Published by Haseeb March 28th, 2006 in Sports
Due to school, i havent been able to keep up with sports much. I still have yet to write my annual Mets Season Preview, but inshallah ill get to that later this week before the season begins. (Can you believe the Mets season starts in less than one week!?)
However I did catch last nights Nets game against the Pistons (the best team in the east [Shaq's squad in South Beach would certainly beg to differ]), where New Jersey impressively won, in D-town 79-74. And tonight, only one day after a tough win against the Eastern Conference Champions , the Nets went on to humilate the 3rd best team in the league, the Phoenix Suns (with Amare Stoudemire back), 110-72. In fact, Jason Kidd and company shut down last year’s MVP, Steve Nas
h to ZERO points! Vince Carter is proving himself again to be one of the elite players in the league.
It may in fact be a three team race for the east afterall. Detroit, Miami, or New Jersey. Who do you think will end up winning the east this year? (Vote in my new poll!)
