Burn down KFC? Why???
Published by Haseeb February 21st, 2006 in Current NewsOkay I know the Muslim world is upset at the whole cartoons thing. If you wanna take out ur frustrations on Denmark by boycotting them or protesting outside one of their embassies (peacefully), thats fine by me.
But what the heck did Colonel Sanders do??? KFC is AMERICAN. We (America) didnt have anything to do with the cartoons! And out of all KFCs, they had to torch down the ONLY KFC in the entire world that i have ever eaten in. On Khyber Road in my (parents’) city of Peshawar, Pakistan.

Damn Pakis… Why cant they take out their anger on something else…
And yes, I have proof that we ate at that restaurant. Here’s a pic of my brother enjoying some Halal Kentucky Fried Chicken in this very restaurant a little over a year ago:

Yeah, its asinine.
BTW, fastfood sucks!
omg :faint: … er.. halal kfc.. not.. oh well nevermind
i’m sorry for your loss! lol Insh-Allah
they will build another KFC for you to call your own Hasseb!lol
(swt) guide us down the straight path and and fill our hearts with iman and taqwa.Ameen
but on a serious note yea not cool….i don’t understand why people aren’t refering back to the sunna…i mean after all isn’t it the Prophet (sas) they are fighting for…may Allah
*sigh*
Angry and very irrational indeed. Well, looks like my man Naveed won’t be doggin up chicken from their any longer. Yo, I had khanwala fried chicken in Lahore. Its way better. And its locally owned, unlike KFC. I always it was funny going to Pakistan and having American food. PEACE
Ewww kfc nasty. hoooray for halal popeyes!
Haseeb you’re not American. You’re a damn paki too. Who cares if you’re born here? You think anyone is differentiating ?
Haseeb is as American as apple pie.
And as fruity hahahhahah
Couldn’t you find a better pic of Naveedo?
I hope pakistanis like their chicken ‘extra crispy’
thats why dubai is the place to be …
Maybe they thought Colonel Sanders was a cartoon of the Prophet Mohamed salah allahu 3alayhi wasalam
haseeb do you understand french?
nadia, tu habites ou?
I stayed at Khyber Road in Peshawar too, real Pathans don’t go near there.
No i dont know french.
i dunno what these ppl are talking about in french; hopefully not backbiting me…
and what is a punjab like u doing at khyber road?
I translated for you so you know we’re not backbiting you
Haseeb, does your boycutting of Denmark mean you are going to send your Outlandish CD back?
lol
nah i think ill keep that
Yeah, I was wondering about that.
ur brothers cute…like studly cute.
wow what are you smoking?
muhi is smoke free! and naveed is smoking! =)
Completely agree with Haseeb! what had KFC and the employees of KFC who were probably Pakistani residents themselves done? i don’t know whats with all the tangent comments and certain people just because of Pakistani origin they don’t make such a big deal about this WRONG UNISLAMIC act compromise their Muslim beliefs.
Wasalam
i dont smoke yuck
Hey Haseeb, we’re not backbiting you as say it ? (the anonymous), ;).
dont worry haseeb theyre not backbiting.
about the whole ‘burning down KFC’ thing…god these people are so confused; AMERICA and DENMARK are two different states and also, they dont know *how* to protest…in protesting about the action taken by *another* country, they wreck their own and some people have even lost their lives during the protests, including an eight year old boy.
quel dommage, non?!
u people eat chiken how mean is that dude u leave the poor chikens a lone… and who cares about KFC they did not burn down pizza hutt so what ever dude and Sami Yusuf RULES
stop typing in French it reminds me of paris hilton ewwwwwwwww speak in arabic la7me la7me ana ba7eb al la7me kteer not really loooooooool c ya
oh yea Pakissssssssssssssss Rule keep up the good work and no worries im an arab
call haseeb at 5:50 pm EST
I don’t speak Arabic. So it’s either french or english or really bad urdu.
In my french class
J’habite a NY.
can u read arabic or under stand it are u a muslim becuse i think u should the quran rememberrrrrrrrrrrrrrr yallah salam alykom ooooooooo yea la7me la7me hehe
hey i thought that Haseeb dude was an Arab… if hes not thats sad cause Middle Eastern peopls RULE,, im one of them by the way hehe and kisses hugz for now c ya guys later and its not 5:30 pm its like 2:40 am dude yallah yallah lazem aruuu7 al salam 3alaykom ya khawaty wa ekhwaty ((if i spelled that right))
Speaking/understanding arabic is not a prerequisite to be a Muslim.
Suffice it to say that I understand what I need to understand to be an observant Muslim.
Ennie:
“All mankind is from Adam and Eve. An Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor does a non-Arab have any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over a black, nor a black has any superiority over a white - except by piety and good action…” - Prophet Muhammad
and the time on my watch is based on NEW YORK CITY time
I’m not sure to have understood the message of Ennie. All Arabic are not native of the Middle East my dear Ennie. I’m Arabic of North Africa, African and Arabic, both. Then, all the persons living in Arab countries are not Arabic and don’t speak Arabic !!!
For example, in Algeria and in Morocco, there is an Arabic population but also a Kabyle (Amazigh) population which is not Arabic. This population doesn’t speak Arabic and nevertheless they are Moslem .
It is clear that to master the Arabic language maybe one more, but certainly no handicap if you do not master it. Not need to speak Arabic to have access to the Coran and to become a good Moslem …
omg, haseeb, the french have taken over your blog!! en plaisantant
keep it english coz its not fair for those who dont know what your saying, bon?
Nadia- sis, i meant that its a shame that people have lost their lives in these protests, not that KFC got burnt down!ya’ani, KFC getting wrecked was wrong too but buildings can be rebuilt…
(i hope i didnt misunderstand what you were saying..:)
it was south of france, visited Avignon and some other places can’t remember, was years ago.
okaaaaaay then i had no idea but thanks for telling me dude salam alykom
oo no u got it wrong im not racist at all alhamdulillah i just think that arabs are cool im so sorry man i didnt mean anything bad T_T got to go pray al salam 3alaykom
No problem, I spoke at the same times about the loss of the KFC and the human lives. You are right Usma ;). You thus visited the former city of the popes, it is a very beautiful city.
Salam alikoum
Ehmm..m. Sehr gut Seite! Ich sage innig..!:)
Luogo molto buon:) Buona fortuna!
i think it was a good idea burning it down, the things they do to those chickens makes me sick, and then people just sit there enjoying them, if most of you new what they do im sure you would think of KFC differently. They cut there beaks and throw them on the floor and against the walls, and jump up and down on them while they are alive, and then they burn there heads while they are still alive, and break there legs and wings, and make them too fat to even walk resulting in breaking legs again, it makes me sick, and if it means the only way to get the message across to KFC to fuck off and die is by burning them down, then so be it, if they cant supply to the restaraunts they cant sell.
STOP EATING AT KFC.
