Lazy Tuesday, come home after a 3 hour exam,
Tired of all last week, staying up everyday to cram
I hit up the gym, and play some ball,
after I return to my room, I get a call

Well, let’s hit up a subway map to find the dopest route.

Yo stop at that MSA Prayer room, we’ve got to pray.
Its Magrhib time, the suns about to go away.
Sitting in the room waiting for azhan,
Haroon starts discussing where he bought his long johns.
After prayer and feeling all blessed,
we bounce on out like Hanks as Forrest
We head down a couple of blocks to reach NYU: School of Law
Enter room 218, to find the room packed, we look in awe.

Featuring Zubaida, Lockman and last but not least,
Noah Feldman, the dude who wrote After Jihad and was in that video
Yes, “Democracy and Islam” with Shaykh Hamza! yo!
After the event, my hunger pangs are sticking like duct tape.
Just hit up Magnolia and mack on some cupcakes.
Went with Haroon and my favorite Bengali

haha.. okay I think ive embarassed myself enough for one day. For those of you wondering what the hell that was, its based on the infamous SNL Skit: Lazy Sunday: The Chronicles of Narnia.
But Alhamdulillah the event was great, especially Professor Noah Feldman, as expected. The whole Palestine-Israel issue is so complex, a
nd todays talk explained what led to Hamas winning the elections and the scholars gave their own analysis of the current situation and its political fallout.
And for the record, YES we did go to Magnolia and had their cupcakes! 
And please dont worry, im not quitting school and becoming a rapper.

Lol what, you guys didn’t drop any Hamiltons? Not even Lincolns? And Haroon is wrong. Magnolia’s cupcakes are the freaking bomb…if anything, they’re the only things that are really good there. Snack attack ______. :o)
By the way, just to put things in context - since we’re being all personal and all, I roomed with Haseeb for an entire summer, and yes, his rapper name is Hissi B. If you want to know anything else, just get in touch with me - my AIM is Mujahada - oh the fun it will be, discussing Hissi B!

ok, u guys in the states are soooooooooo lucky to get to go to all these conferences and talks and all!!! i live in the USVI- yes beautiful weather, but thats about it! i check the paper all the time and nothing! no one gives any lectures, or even comes down here. i mean not even non-islamic lectures, the only thing they seldom discuss is the environment. anyway, don’t take for granted those available lectures u guys get!! jazzakum Allah
