NBA Trade: Artest for Peja - Rejected? - Approved?
Published by Haseeb January 25th, 2006 in Sports
ESPN.com - NBA - Pacers want to talk to Artest; Stojakovic ‘disrespected’ What a turn of events.
In December, Ron Artest demanded to be traded, now 6+ weeks later, he finally gets what he wants. A trade to Sacramento for (one of my favorite NBA players) Peja Stojakovic.
But Ron apparently doesnt want to play for Sacramento… so the trade is off?
Meanwhle Peja is upset that he is traded. No one tells him that the trade didnt go through - so he sits out last nights game, even though hes still a King. lol.
This whole matter is ruining the Pacers team psyche as they are playing horribly nowadays, and Peja, one of the Kings only superstars feels disrespected as he was traded without any notice, but then - not really traded. Unbelieveable.
UPDATE: 5:00 PM
It looks like the trade is back on (pending league approval), lol! Hopefully Peja will be able to rejuvinate his career in Indy. He can fill the ‘best pure shooter in the game’ role left behind when Reggie Miller retired last year!
Yea i know Kobe got 81 points the other night. Whoopdidoo… I still hate him. I chose not to comment on it! Besides, its not that big of a deal. If the team and coach were behind it, u dont think an Allen Iverson, or a LeBron James could drop 100? They easily could.

LMAO
damn that was fast
Great deal for the kings. If Artest stays close to normal, he is gonna make them a better team on both ends of the court. Kings have been infamous for bad defence. Then again, Pacers got a sharp-shooter in Peja. Let’s see how it goes.
Kobe’s 81 was a big deal…hes the closest thing to Jordan youll ever get in the NBA… his shot, his style is just like his…. 81 is a lot of freakin points…and hes been averagin 45 points in december…thats a lot of points a game, and his team is above .500–no one would ever think that they would be above .500– in conclusion, kobe is top 3 in the game, i can argue that kevin garnett or tim duncan may be a little better
