Back from RIS 2005

Subhanallah! What an experience! I have so many great things to say about the conference, concert, (and especially) the knowledge retreat. To spend a week with (in my opinion) America’s greatest and most influential scholars of Islam was amazing. I have learned so much and have literally almost a 100 pages of notes to show for it. On top of that I have met serveral really awesome brothers I hope to remain in contact with. I was really impressed by not only the scholars and what they taught us (Inshallah Ill get into more on the scholars and their talks and share some notes on my site in the upcoming days), but also the Muslim community in Toronto. Inshallah I hope and pray that all of us who have attended the conference and camp have benefitted from it and will implement what we have learned in our current lives and future goals in living here in America. Moreover, I sincerely pray that Allah 
accept all the hard work of all of the organizers of the event who diligently worked night and day for our benefit. And finally, I pray that Allah accepts the hard work of the scholars present at the conference who really want nothing but the best for us, and are striving to educate and serve us, the youth, and future of Islam.

ortunately I am very busy nowadays, as school begins on Monday for me, and there is so much I want to share about the conference, people I met, scholars, lessons/lectures, etc. In due time over the course of the next couple of weeks Ill try to share this info on my site. I also have alot of great pics I will post soon in the pics section. Again for those of you who dont know the password, please contact me for it!
And for the record, we got through the border in like 2 minutes without any difficulty. Alhamdulillah!

And check out my classic tracks (according to me I have 3) that speak about oppression and war and oppression and and the downtrodden and the fact that Im rich and how I and others have always been oppressed. The grammys didnt admit it but They Knew…They Knew that I had come out with some classics and they just didnt wanna admit it because they dont care about black people either! So thats why you werent detained…

Mashallah the Knowledge Retreat was AMAZING. ALhamdulillah i’m glad you had a good time here in toronto. I hope inshallah they keep this retreat thing going. May Allah
(swt) increase our knowledge and make us scholars inshallah so that we can make a difference in the lives of others as thses shuyukh have made a difference in our lives. Ameen.
