Im a Social Liberal? an Economic Liberal? A Democrat?
Published by Haseeb September 24th, 2005 in Personal, US PoliticsI never really knew how to classify myself politcally. Although I initially registered as a democrat, i changed my political affiliation to Independent, because I dont really like any politcal party. Obviously Im not a Republican, but i hate being classified and labeled into these overly general groups. Yes I am American, yes I am a Muslim, but thats about it. Anyways, i took this political survey to see what i should be classified as based on my answers to a series of social/political/economic questions. Here are my results:
I am a Social Liberal (60% permissive)
and an Economic Liberal (23% permissive)
I am best described as a: Democrat
I exhibit a very well-developed sense of Right and Wrong and believe in economic fairness.
Feel free to take the test urself and lemme know what u got. (link at the bottom)

and this was a nice quote I heard on Real Time with Bill Maher earlier tonight:
“Christains believe in prophets, peace be upon them, while (George) Bush believes in profits, and how to get them”

really, the quote said “peace be upon them”?
they got that from the muslims,
cause no christian or jew have I heard that addresses Prophets in that tone of respect.
They say that Islaam was influenced by them rathar, it is the opposite.
The protestant movement broke away from Catholicism under the influence of Islaam.
and now they use our phrases too. Bravo.
i didnt know it was a contest and i love it when people dont get what its all about, i luuuuuuuuuv it, luuv it…
al nafis
Social Liberal
(61% permissive)
and an…
Economic Liberal
(36% permissive)
You are best described as a:
Centrist
You exhibit a very well-developed sense of Right and Wrong and believe in economic fairness
republican all the wayyyy….other than their foreign issues republican issues fallin line w/ the islamic ruling (stem cell, abortion, gay marriage etcc)
you forgot to mention hypocrisy, christian prayer in schools, complete disregard for environmental issues, and christian evangelical support, which also all happen to fall in line with republican values. but good luck being a republican, at least if you ever think about having an abortion, itll be illegal so you wont sin like that.
“yeah’ you says abortions are illegal..
The scholars are more open-minded than you are.
thanks ’somebody’. That really cleared things up.
I took another political test, and heres how i scored on this one:
The political description that fits you best is… CENTRIST
CENTRISTS espouse a “middle ground” regarding government control of the economy and personal behavior. Depending on the issue, they sometimes favor government intervention and sometimes support individual freedom of choice. Centrists pride themselves on keeping an open mind, tend to oppose “political extremes,” and emphasize what they describe as “practical” solutions to problems.
yeah, you’re ugly
umar, your mom alrite? had a late nite last nite
funny jokess….haha haven’t heard a mom joke sicne the 3rd grade, thanks though…forgot what they sound like
joke…?
?? aren’t you supposed to be at college or something?
yeah… please dont be makin jokes about other people’s mothers, that is utterly and totally un-islamic, it is waaayy beyond bigotry.
okcupid said this to me:
Your true political self: You are a Social Liberal (80% permissive) and an…Economic Conservative (81% permissive) You are best described as a: Libertarian. You exhibit a very well-developed sense of Right and Wrong and believe in economic fairness.
That matches my opinion of myself. I vote Republican since that party is somewhat more supportive of libertarian values. OK, OK, read “ever so slightly” for “somewhat” if that makes you feel better.
I left every answer as “strongly agree” just to check this test out and I was classified as “totalitarianism.” The funny thing is that it told me, just as it told the liberals, “You exhibit a very well-developed sense of Right at Wrong and believe in economic fairness.”
A correctly created test will word the questions in a way that changes the direction of its measurment. If this were true with this test then I would have been rated as a Centrist for answering “Strongly Agree” on every question, not Totalitarianism.
