Today was the first game of the Muslim Softball League. Alhamdulillah, this league looks great. We have six competitive teams playing out in LI. My team played 2 games today, we won the first 21-3, and lost the second game in the bottom of the 7th 8-7. More importantly, our team played well, and i think we have a good balanced roster. The rest of the season should be great, and inshallah in this league I will finally win a championship. lol….

The Mets finished off the first half of the season with a win in Pittsburg. After 88 games thus far, we’re at a respectable .500 (44-44). However, we are last in the NL east, and 8.5 games behind the Nats. Although the NL East is a very competitive and tough division, with a little turnaround, a trade or 2 (glavine has got to go) and some luck, I still believe well be able to pull through this year.

haseeb, as always you’re very self centered, you did not participate in the “first game of the muslim softball league”, just cuz you didn’t play in previous games doesnt’ mean the league didn’t exist. This league has very well been in play for well over a decade. Brothers would gather from all over the city and long island and play in many fields including the excellent fields of the Syosset-Woodbury community park to even the Kramer Lane Elementary School fields for about 2 seasons. If you do not believe me ask any of the brothers you played against or you can even ask Khaled.

Pease dont’ disrespect the league like this again.

    omg, lol

we refers to the MY TEAM - The Mets

i apologize, i meant to say the FIRST GAME OF THIS SEASON (mid-season rather, as a prior season ended last week- this is a new season). I know the league existed far prior to my joining, and i respect the league as well as all participants and team-mates, and particularly khaled, the other team captains, and the commissioner, Ammad. Wow i cant believe u thought i disrespected the league. damn haroon, uve been really harsh on me as of late… :-/

i’m not being harsh at all, for someon who has criticized me much in the past for the my choice of diction, i am just very surprised in the choice of your own words. also you didn’t mean this was the first day of the season, dont backtrack, you meant what you said (Today was the first game of the Muslim Softball League) and you stand corrected, man up and face your error.
