Back at Stony Today…

Today was the first time I returned to Stony Brook since graduation. I really miss that place! It was my home, and the source of so knowledge (dunya and deen-related), and just as importantly, where i made so many dear friends I hope to always remain close with. Although I went initially because i had to take care of some major business (one of my completed majors still has to be verified), I had the opportunity to spend some time with some great friends today (but not all of them 
). It was really sad visiting Mujeeb back in my old apartment, for two reasons. Firstly I miss mujeeb like crazy, and secondly, that apartment was my home for the last two years of my undergraduate career plus a summer. I have so many great memories there in my suite with Ali, Saleem, Nazim, Mujeeb, Muhammad, Walid, and Haroon (and Faraz too!). And on top of that, the UGAs are really nice. Brand new dorms, with huge rooms and 2 huge bathrooms. In retrospect, they have actually spoiled me sooo much, especially since i will be moving to the ghetto tiny downstate dorms in a little over a month. Oh well, Alhamdulillah. It was great being back at Stony… and life moves on…
They are mad nice dorms. Just compared to ugads are they ghetto…but then again whaddyou expect? it IS the ghetto aiiiite
i’m glad u had fun that day. oh, and i saw this cake, it was chocolate and vanilla and oreo and fudge. i think it might’ve been really yummy but i guess u wouldnt know. and i was at stony that day too…funny how i didnt see u.
