Mets 6-6; Deens List 1-1

.500 isnt so bad, is it?

After a depressing start to the season the Mets had a nice homestand while winning 6 games in a row. Even with an injury plagued start to the season (Traschel, Benson, and Cameron all are hurt), the New Mets dont look so bad. Aaron Heilman, Victor Diaz, and Doug Mientkiewicz are all doing better than I had expected. Nonetheless, Matsui. Piazza, Glavine and Wright are off to slow starts, but they will come around. It is a long season after all.

Meanwhile the Deen’s List lost its 2nd game of the season. We really shouldve won that game. We made wayyy too many careless errors. Nevertheless we didnt have our best lineup in for that game, and it showed, especially on the field. We still have 2 games left in the season. IM sure a 3-1 record will be sufficient to enter the playoffs, so I do remain optimistic and hope we play well and win in our final 2 games.

Im sorry i havent updated as often; I have just had my mind elsewhere over the past week or so. I dont want to lose all my fans, so inshallah I will post regularly again! :-D

Well there’s no hope for the Mets cause they just inherently suck but inshAllah the deenz list can make it to the playoffs. I’d hate to see you guys become the Mets of Stony Brook.
