Last night was much better than the previous night… Alhamdulillah!

I spent alot of great quality time with a few of my best, most sincere friends: including a CFC run (not quite a chicken run, but still fun!) with Tamzid, Haroon, and Ahmed Z. I can’t even remember the last time I laughed so hard in over a period of 3-4 hours. Tamzid is the by far the funniest guy I have ever met in the world! LOL, but most of his jokes would probably be rated at least M (for Makhruh [inside joke :-D])

But yea, just chilling with these guys, particularly these close friends I had since freshman year, was very nostalgic, and made me appreciate the time here at Stony Brook. Tamzid, Haroon, and I went through alot our first two years in particular, two of the most fun years of our lives. I often regret leaving Tamzid and moving to the UGA. Oh well, Alhamdulillah. But I did have some great times with these people, and it just makes me realize how blessed I have been to have gotten to know so many great sincere people at Stony Brook. I havent even mentioned having my ex-roomate Saleem spend the last 2 nights at my place, and how great a friend he has been for me since my first day of college and how he has impacted during my time here. I have been very blessed here at Stony. Its very easy to get get caught up in a few tough times and particular grievous predicaments and fret over them, but I relly do have soo much to be thankful for, and inshallah im trying my best to remain as grateful as possible for it all.

وَإِذْ تَأَذَّنَ رَبُّكُمْ لَئِن شَكَرْتُمْ لأَزِيدَنَّكُمْ وَلَئِن كَفَرْتُمْ إِنَّ عَذَابِي لَشَدِيدٌ
… “If you are grateful, I will grant you increase (in favours); but if you are ungrateful, my punishment severe indeed.” (Quran 14:7)
