Spring Training Outlook on the Mets

Mets are 2-1 thus far this spring. After a rough start, we’ve won two games, and more importantly, our team is looking great. Our two superstar additions, Pedro Martinez, and Carlos Beltran look great in Mets Uniforms.

Pedro pitched great yesterday earning his first victory as a Met (the first of many to come). And today Carlos Beltran hit his first homer as a met in his first at-bat. He’s also beginning to emerge as team leader, and we all know he can definitely lead by example as he is one of the top 5 hitters in the league today. The rest of the lineup looks great as well, and the defense looks alot better than last year. Our infield looks great with Matsui at 2nd and Reyes at shortstop. Our lineup is the best it has ever been and I really am looking forward to this upcoming season!
